How to Evaluate a High-Quality Membrane Switch

When reviewing your samples, consider these factors: Vibrant Graphics: High-quality switches feature clear text and beautiful graphics. Dull graphics may suggest a color mismatch with the Pantone or RAL code you provided. Strong Click Feeling: A top-notch switch provides a satisfying tactile response when pressing keys, confirming activation. Bubble-Free Adhesive: “No bubbles” is good. Bubbles indicate uneven alignment for adhesive, which is detrimental for a thin 0.2 mm thick graphic overlay. Sturdiness: Quality switches are firm, not saggy. Hold the switch by the corner; it shouldn’t droop more than 5 degrees. A droopy switch indicates poor-quality internal glue. Material Matters: Use PET, not PC, for the overlay with embossed keys. For outdoor use, choose Autotex XE F/V. The right material ensures the switch can last over 5 years.
