Within a membrane switch panel, specific mechanical restrictions should be noted, and we’ve outlined the most critical ones below: The standard thickness for a membrane switch falls between 0.85 mm and 1.0 mm. However, based on customer preferences, we can accommodate requests for thicker membrane switches exceeding 1 mm. The holding panel should be 0.1 mm to 0.2 mm deeper than the thickness of the membrane switch to ensure proper alignment and functionality. LCD Windows must maintain specific distances: a minimum of 3.00 mm from the edge of the membrane switch panel, at least 4.00 mm from the edge of switch positions, and a minimum of 9.00 mm from the center of SMT LED. The edges of embossed switches should be positioned strategically: a minimum of 5.00 mm from the outer edge of the membrane or from the edge of other switches, and at least 2.00 mm from the outer edge of the SMT LED area. The tail’s output position from the reverse side should be located at least 3.00 mm from the edge of the membrane to ensure proper connectivity. The center of SMT LED’s should be positioned a minimum of 8 mm from the edge of the membrane.
